Excellent and strengtheous overhangs
by the river (5.10b or V0+)

This small suburban crag is located by Merri Creek, just below Rushall
station. It consists of a short traverse (about 15m) and a couple of strengtheous
bouldering problems up to about 4 meters of height. For the more adventurous climber there
is a traverse over the river it self... Easily accessible, but somewhat shoddy
bouldering site in quite surroundings. Take the metro to Rushall or Merri station. Follow
the tracks towards/back to the railroad bridge across the river. Use the footpath on the
southern side of the river downstream to the end. The site is on your right hand side. |
