This site is located close to Halls Gap in the Grampians, about 250-km west-northwest of Melbourne. Use Western Freeway through Balarat and Ararat. There are signs showing the direction to Halls Gap and The Grampians National Park.

Getting to "The Watchtower from Halls Gap is easy. Follow the road towards Stawell. Take left into the Halls Gap - Mt Zero Road. After a little bit less than 1 km, there is a small car park on the left. A footpath leads up left to the wall about 50m uphill.

The site has about 20 routes from 5.7 to 5.12d. Good and enjoyable climbing on solid and interesting rock. Some of the routes have bolts, of the hangerless type, so bring "bolt plates" and your own placements.

The wall is usually in the shade, and within walking distance from Halls Gap. A good place for short trips.
