Good site in beautiful surroundings at Monte
Barro
"Settore Principale"
This site consist of 5 walls with about 50 routes in the range 5.6 - 5.13a. It is located
in an old stone quarry, and the routes are generally well bolted.

To reach the site you go by train form Centrale via Lecco to Sala al Barro
- Galbiate (the station after Civate). You change train in Lecco, but the direct trains
from Centrale correspond with the local trains to Sala di Barro.
"Settore delle 4 Tracce - A"
From the station you walk up to the road, and straight forward. At the main road you
turn right follow it. Turn left at the first small road. After a couple of hundred meters
you cross a roundabout and walk through Selvetto (a small community) and entering
"Parco di Monte di Barro".
Just follow the road, which after a short while
turns into a footpath. Turn right into the woods at the top of the first hill (you will
see a fence at your left-hand side). After 15 - 20 meters you reach a clearing with small
terraces.
Use the footpath to the left. It is just to follow the main path and
always going up. After 5 - 10 min. you will reach "Settore delle 4 Tracce".
