This climbing site is located on the Western side of Lago di Como, just
North of Menaggio. From here it is possible to see Varenna on the other side. The site is
along the old road; the new road goes through a tunnel here.

The site consists of about 50 routes from 5.5 to 5.13c. The most difficult
routes (nr. 37 -39) cross the roof of the escape tunnel for the new road. The majority of
the routes are in the 5.10's and 5.11's. They are all well bolted, and new routes are
planned.
To reach the site in Menaggio you go by train from Centrale to Varenna were you cross
the lake to Menaggio by ferry. The ferries correspond with the direct trains' to/from
Centrale. From Menaggio you walk North along the shore on the main road. By the first
tunnel the old road (nowadays just for pedestrians and bikes) runs on the outside where
the climbing site is located.
