"Placca Condor"

Nice climbing site about 15 min. driving from Lecco. The site is one of 6 which 3 that are easy to spot from the road just after you have passed Pasturo. The climbing site is located on the eastern side of a small stream in a nice vally.

Every route here are nicely bolted, with one bolt pr. 3 meter. The climbing site has 3 walls which all have an angle of about 80 - 85 degrees. There is hardly any cracks on the whole site. Every singel move is done on very small hand and fot holds. Good climbing technique makes miracles on these walls.

Here on this site you have the posibility to put a top rope on nearly every route. Felix and Martin liked this opportunity, and had a nice climbing race up the cliff! Felix won the first round, but after changing routes, we discovered that the route on the right hand side is more difficult (5.10a vs. 5.9).

The selection of routes and the variation between them are limited, but "Placca Condor" offers a different climbing experience than the other sites we have tried, and is worth a visit.

The cliffs them selves are facing west and you have sun almost all day. It is possible to drive all the way to the walls, but there is little traffic on the small dirt road, and it is not bothersome.
