Roma

A short visit to Roma during Easter

Thursday April 16th

During Easter we traveled to Roma together with my wife's cousin Klara. As usual we walked a lot! We visited St. Peter's Cathedral, Coliseum, Foro Romano, Circo Maximo, Pantheon, Fontana de Trevi, and the Spanish stairs.

The weather was perfect but because of Easter a lot of people had traveled to Roma and it was hard to get into several of the sights. As always we stopped and had our famous salad with rice for lunch. Because Roma was crowded with people for Easter we ran out of time and had to buy "dinner" at Mac Donald's to bring with us on the train back to Milano.

It was a long day, leaving our home at 06:20 and getting back at 01:05 at night. But you should always look at the bright side of life. We left Milano while it was raining, had perfect weather with sun all day in Roma, and arrived to rain in Milano!
